Jharkhand JCECE Application Form 2019: JCECE (i.e. Jharkhand Common Entrance Competitive Exam) is a state level entrance exam for the students of Jharkhand seeking admission in course like B.sc (forestry), B.sc(Agriculture), B.sc(fisheries) and many other in various colleges/institutes of Jharkhand. JCECE exam is managed by Jharkhand Common Entrance Competitive Exam Board. Exam for the session 2019-2020 is expected to held in the 3rd week of April 2019. JCECE Board conducts this exam every year in the state of Jharkhand for granting admission to students seeking admission in the first year of various courses. Below we have shared the information of courses offered subject-wise by JCECE Board.

  • sc (Hons.) in Agriculture and Forestry and B.tech (Diary Technology) for candidates from PCM (physics, chemistry, mathematics) group.
  • sc (Hons.) in Agriculture/Forestry, B.V Sc & A.H, B.F.Sc (Bachelor’s of Fishery Sciences), B.H.M.S for PCB group.
  • sc (Hons.) in Agriculture/Forestry, B.V Sc & A.H, B.tech (Diary Technology), B.F.Sc (Bachelor’s of Fishery Sciences), BHMS for PCMB group

Eligibility Criteria For Jharkhand JCECE 2019


Before applying for exam candidates needs to check the eligibility criteria. Below we have shared a detailed note on the eligibility criteria of the Board for the exam.

Domicile Requirement-

  • The primary requirement is that JCECE aspirants must be a local resident/permanent resident of Jharkhand and must possess a Local Resident Certificate/domicile issued to him/her by an authority which must be assigned under the Government of Jharkhand.
  • Aspirants reserved under different categories must have caste certificate issued by the Government of Jharkhand

Age Criteria-

  • For B.Tech course, there is no age limit.
  • For agriculture and forestry courses, candidates should be of minimum 17 years of age and maximum 22 years as on 1st July 2019. An age relaxation of 3 years on maximum age limit is applicable for SC/ST candidates.
  • For MBBS course, candidate must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete before or on 31st December 2019.
  • For Animal husbandry (B.V.Sc and A.H) courses, candidates should complete the minimum age of 17 years as on 31st December 2019.

Educational Qualification

  • Tech Course-

-Candidates must have passed 12+2 exam from a recognized board.

-Candidates must have passed 10+2 with mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects with chemistry/biology/biotechnology/technical vocational subject.

-General category candidates must obtain 45% marks in 10+2 exam and for reserved candidates it is 40% all the subjects.

-Appearing candidates can also apply but they must have completed their 10+2 exams at the time of admission/counseling.

  • B.B.S. Course-

-Candidate must have passed 10+2 with subjects Biology/Bio-   technology, Physics, Chemistry, and English individually

– General candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in Biology/ Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry taken together. And minimum of 40% for reserved candidates.

– Appearing candidates can also apply but they must have completed their 10+2 exams at the time of admission/counseling

  • Agriculture and Forestry Courses-

-Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subject with one of the Biology /Mathematics.

– Appearing candidates can also apply but they must have completed their 10+2 exams at the time of admission/counseling.

  • Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) Course

– Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology as compulsory subjects.

– Appearing candidates can also apply but they must have completed their 10+2 exams at the time of admission/counseling.

How to Fill JCECE Application Form 2019

Following are the steps to fill the online JCECE Application Form-

  • Candidates have to visit the website of JCECE Board i.e. http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in
  • Now candidates have to do registration.
  • Now candidates have to fill all the details carefully.
  • Now they have to upload photograph and signature.
  • After filling details payment of fee is to be made by the candidates.
  • Lastly, candidates have to submit the form and can take the printout of the form for future reference.

Application Fee

Candidates can make payment of application fee through online mode (credit card, debit card, net banking) as well as offline mode (bank challan).

JCECE Exam 2019 Pattern

  • It will be an offline exam(pen and paper based)
  • Exam paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
  • Questions will be asked in English and Hindi.
  • There will be total 150 questions in each subject group.
  • Each correct answer will be awarded with 1 mark.
  • ¼(25%) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • Candidates will be provided 2 hours for Chemistry and Physics whereas for Biology and Mathematics they will be given 1 hour.

JCECE 2019 Exam Syllabus

Candidates can prepare for exam according to the prescribed syllabus by Board. The syllabus basically consists of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. Candidates can check the syllabus on the official website of the board after its publication.

Jharkhand JCECE 2019 Admit Card

Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website and also from our page (link) as it will be published officially. Admit card is expected to be published on 4th week of May 2019. Candidates have to make sure that they carry their admit card along with them at the exam center on the day of the exam. Without admit card no candidate will be permitted to enter exam centre and may be prohibited from writing the exam.

JCECE 2019 Exam Result

Results will be uploaded on the website of JCECE probably on the last week of June 2019.candidates can also check the result on our page. The result will be consists of the marks scored by the candidates. There is not any provision of re-checking or re-evaluation of the answer sheets as per the norms of the Board.

Jharkhand JCECE 2019 Exam Counselling

Counseling for JCECE 2019 exam is expected to start in the month of July 2019. Counseling will be conducted in two phases. Allotment of seats in various colleges of Jharkhand depends upon the merit list generated by the Board. Candidates need to carry all the essential documents at the time of counseling.
